The Bthnkor is a type of predator plant which uses snare traps to catch its prey. It is very rare, and just as dangerous as it is enigmatic.
This very rare, big snare trap grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall, and produces a cluster of slender slate stalks and umbrella-shaped amber traps up to 7 inches (18 cm) wide. The plant has giant, silver leaves with rounded edges. The traps are covered in sticky tendrils that ensnare the victim and cause death by starvation or struggle exhaustion.
Once a victim is ensnared, the trap rapidly contracts around it. It lures its victims with a sweet liquid and feeds mostly on large amphibians. It has a kill rate of over 50%, and can fully digest its meal in 46 minutes.
